(1) An incorporated association may, subject to any greater restriction provided in its rules, execute a contract or other document if the contract or document is signed by— (a) 2 members of the committee; or (b) if the secretary of the association is not a member of the committee—by a member of the committee and the secretary.. the Act means the Associations Incorporation Act 1981. (2) In these Rules, a reference to the Secretary of an Association is a reference— (a) if a person holds office under these Rules as Secretary of the Association— to that person; and (b) in any other case, to the public officer of the Association.
